Currency Converter
Booking information: Once you have confirmed availability, we will
send you a booking form and ask that you return it and wire 1/2 the total
rent to our account in France. The balance plus cleaning fees are due
9 weeks in advance of your arrival. If the reservation is made less than
9 weeks before your arrival, payment in full is required.
Upon receipt of the booking form and verification of your deposit,
we will send you written confirmation. This will indicate the cost of the
accommodation and the cost of any additional services requested less
the initial deposit. Payment in full (also wired to the above account)
must be received 9 (NINE) weeks prior to your arrival at the property.
If not received by this time, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit
forfeited.
- NOTE: We require a fully refundable security/damage deposit of 1000
euros for stays longer than one month. This is due with the final payment.
Supplementary charges:
- Telephone – local calls are included. You
will need your own calling card for others.
- Utilities/heating – these are included for
short-term rentals but will be separate for long-term stays.
- Cleaning fee — 50 euros/week + 12 euros/person/week
(required). This will be negotiated for longer stays: however, a
twice-monthly cleaning
and final cleaning is mandatory.]
- Linens – fresh weekly are included
with cleaning fee (sheets, towels, washcloths).
After receipt of the balance, we will send full arrival
information: location of the keys and directions for reaching the house.
We are always
happy to help with any additional information about the area. So please
don’t hesitate to contact us.
Cancellation policy: Once received, payments are 100% refundable IF
we can rebook your cancellation. Truly, we will make every effort to
rebook our home. The earlier the notice, of course, the more we are likely
to succeed. In that case, you will receive a refund less our expenses
if we incur any. For your ultimate protection, we strongly recommend
the purchase of trip cancellation insurance. We are just a nice couple
sharing our home with people like you -- and not a professional agency.
Please recognize that you will be guests in our home -- not a hotel,
resort, or professional property. We do everything that every responsible
and loving homeowner does to maintain a healthy, happy, safe, secure,
and functional home to share with our guests, friends, and families,
but we cannot accept liability for accidents, death, loss or damage to
persons or personal effects, however caused.
