If you are traveling to the south of France by air, you will arrive in Nice, Marseille or Toulon. Nice and Marseille are about equidistant — about an hour and 20 minutes in either direction; Toulon is a much smaller airport and a bit closer.
Carcès is NOT on the train routes, so you will want and need a car to fully explore Provence and all it has to offer. We recommend checking the usual car rental agencies plus Europcar to see which is offering the best deal.
Rail to Les Arcs/Draguignan, about 30 minutes east. Check out rental car availability before making your reservation to arrive here by train. You also can park your car here for day trips to the coast and beyond.

Rail to Nice
Gare Nice Ville is the international railway station at Nice, connecting it
to major destinations in France and across the border into Italy and Spain,
by high-speed trains (TGV). TGV connect Nice to Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseilles
and many international destinations including London, Brussels, Geneva, Lausanne,
Zurich, Torino and Milan.
