Amenities
Inside our three-level home, your footsteps retrace
those of previous generations on original tomette tiles [traditional
hexagonal terra cotta
tiles]. With ceiling fans throughout and fuel-fired central heat, our
old winemaker’s home is ideal for year-round living.
First level: A garage, laundry, sitting room and toilet/shower-room.
Second level: living room, dining room, kitchen, toilet/shower-room, and terrace.
Third level: four bedrooms (sinks in two of them) and full bath with bidet.
Four bedrooms plus a pool-side sitting room with a futon sleep eight to 10 comfortably and privately, yet a single couple
will feel cozy. Three toilets and shower-rooms/bathrooms (one on each
level); sinks in two bedrooms, ceiling fans, fuel-fired central heat
(important for off-season holidays).
The living area is comfortably furnished, including an antique
table just suited for a game of cards, writing letters,or perhaps finally
writing your memoirs or even a novel. Each bedroom has a writing desk
in case you need solitude to fire your inspiration.
You will arrive to a simply stocked kitchen – coffee,
teas, cereals, milk, spices, pastas, sauce, and more. Use what you
need and replace
what you use!
The house is fully outfitted for daily life: ample
cookware; dishware and glasses (including plastic ware for kids); a
food processor and an
immersion blender; modern kitchen (including dishwasher, convection oven,
beaucoup de cooking utensils); linens; washer & solar dryer (laundry
line); private pool; garage; iron & ironing board; children’s
games; even simple first aid materials including a thermometer; a wonderful
library of books about Provence, maps, tour guides, etc., plus a wide
selection of other reading, from fiction to history.
Then there’s a wood-burnng fireplace, telephone & high-speed Internet connect, satellite TV, VCR & DVD
players, and a stereo CD player.
